It is good idea to have separate configuration "dx pedition" to get all settings ok with just one selection.
Frequency list changes at same time, but you do not need to set all dx frequencies on one band.
Just one is enough. Then just do old fashion "turn vfo knob" if dx is not at your frequency set in memory list.
I worked either 5V or 5X with that method and it worked ok. Can not remember which one. IC7300, setting "split operation"=rig and it works.
From previous I remember that there was something you may not do when dialing with vfo. Otherwise rig jumps to list frequency, but can not remember what that was. Testing will show.
