Hello All, Version 2.0.19 is a major upgrade over v2.0.18. I've posted release notes at the link below. If you plan on using this version, it is advisable to read through the entire document, especially the installation section. Release Notes Link ..: Link: http://tinyurl.com/jtsdk-nix-v2-0-19 MD5..................: ab69f9e7b05f5a3084677633d10f828a SHA1.................: 5353329191e9044b1981ae56d7a8c3f6c5487b4e *CHANGE LOG* - WSJT-X, adds dynamic menu generation for ^/branches and ^/tags - WSJT-X, adds user selectable CMake options via Dialog menus - WSJT-X, adds command line options for user defined builds - Adds an option to set the number of CPUs used in compiling - Adds (9) user options to control build script features - Improved F2PY and Python3 detection - Updated the user guide to release-note level - Updated all manpages - User guide converted to AsciiDoctor v.s. AsciiDoc. *INSTALL via PPA* - When installing JTSDK ( then main package ), it will no longer automatically install dependencies. I've created three Meta packages that allows much more control over what gets installed, it's up to the user to choose. - jtsdk-minimal = Minimum packages to build WSJT-X, WSJT and WSPR - jtsdk-standard = Minimal + User Guide build dependencies - jtsdk-full = Standard + Manpage build dependencies All three applications have the ability to enable or disable Manpage and User Guide generation. If you choose not to install jtsdk-full, you will need to disable what you do not want via ( jtsdk -d [OPTION] ), see ( jtsdk -h and jtsdk -l ) for more details. Whichever way you decide, you must choose at least (1) Meta Package. To Install ( example is for full dependency installation ): - sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:ki7mt/jtsdk - sudo apt-get update - sudo apt-get install jtsdk jtsdk-full Then run JTSDK either form the Desktop menus or the command line. * INSTALL via SOURCE * - Remove all previous versions of JTSDK. - Download jtsdk-nix-2.0.19.tar.gz - Extract: tar -xf jtsdk-nix-2.0.19.tar.gz - cd ./jtsdk-nix-2.0.19 - ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr/local - make - sudo make install You can add --disable-manpages --disable-docs to the autogen command if you do not want to install the required build dependencies, however, ensure you set the options ( jtsdk -d manpages -d docs ) before building any applications, otherwise a build error will likely occur. See ( jtsdk -h and jtsdk -l ) for more details. Be sure you check the MD5 and / or SHA1 sums to ensure the package is valid before installing. If it is not valid, please report is to the dev-list.
