Hi, not sure if I should post this here, or on the Yahoo group, but since this pertains to the development version 1.5.0-devel r4450, this issue would confuse the Yahoo users. While using v1.5.0 and DXLAB Commander with an Elecraft KX3, I see issues with the PTT through CAT control occurring. I usually discover this when I don't have the audio running through the speakers, so I don't notice it happening. I'll be sending a reply via wsjtx, and not pay much attention once its going. I'll hear JTAlert-X signal the end of the transmit time, and so I'm sitting expecting a reply back. I'll then look up and not see anything on the waterfall, then notice that the KX3 is still in transmit, and has been way beyond the usual 50 seconds, and into the next time period. I'll manually turn off the transmit by hitting the XMIT button on the KX3, but by then the 'damage' has been done, I've been broadcasting, what I'm assuming is, dead air. I didn't notice this occurring in v1.3, and I believe this did happen to me once or twice when using one of the pre-RC1 builds of 1.4.0. 73, Neil KB3TVU |
