++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Please read the disclaimer at the bottom of this e-mail. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ As an addendum, linking the files with the +b option as explained here http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/java/faq/index.html#troubleshoot11 does not solve the problem. cheers, -----Original Message----- From: wra...@li... On building the library with a .so extension,it gives the same=20 "WARNING:Unable to load the Wrapper's native library 'libwrapper.so'.=20 ......" this error occurs if you attempt to run the 32-bit library on a 64-bit mach= ine. I am compiling, linking the library from the command line.( not comfortable = with HP-make ). I am going to try and have a look at the options described in the link. http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/java/faq/index.html#troubleshoot11 Will post the results back to the mailing list. Subject: Re: [Wrapper-user] HP-UX 11i 64 bit:log level DEBUG crashes application Venkatesh, as far as I found out so far, 32-bit HP-UX uses the .sl extension, whereas = 64-bit uses the .so extension. I also have only a 32-bit HP-UX at my hands, so I can't tell for sure what = went wrong. But I found the following on HP's site (that seems to describe your problem= ): http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/java/faq/index.html#troubleshoot11 If you don't get further, it would be good to post the Makefile.
