Yes, the STATUS level shows ERROR and FATAL messages.

The log levels are, in order:

NONE
FATAL
ERROR
STATUS
INFO
DEBUG

Setting the log level to one level will display messages of that log=20
level and all higher log levels.

So if you set the log level to STATUS, you will see log messages with=20
the levels STATUS, ERROR, and FATAL.
