Java Tray Icon is not shown in Windows 7 & 2008 when it run as system service.
But if run in console, tray icon is shown properly.Even I tried with running as different users but no luck.
Please suggest the way to show tray icon in Windows 7 & 2008 when application launched as system service.

Unfortunately, this is not a Wrapper bug. It is a known problem with
Windows. Starting with Windows Vista, Microsoft changed the way
Services are run so it is no longer possible for them to interact with
the desktop. Rather, their GUIs are displayed on a Session 0 desktop.

We are looking at ways to work around this by using a separate
process, but it is still on our todo list and at least 6 months off.
We would appreciate any information about your needs here as we are
still in the process of designing the API.

The problem is described in a bit more detail here:

Most likely when you run your demo without the Wrapper, you are simply
running in a command prompt. In that case, the current desktop is the
one you are logged in to so the tray icon works correctly.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this.

    Thank you,
    Christian
