Wput is very slow on 10 Gbit/s connections

Hello
I am trying to upload a file on a 10 Gbit/s LAN between 2 computers(client running Windows 10/ Intel i9) and server running Linux using wput 0.6.2/cygwin
Maximum speed I can get out of wput is 40-45 MegaBytes/s, way below max capacity of line.
Using other client like FTPRush -> I can get up to 1200 MBytes/s.
I use wput -B file.rar ftp://......
63% [================================================> ] 159,855,616 44.60M/s ETA
Looks like wput isn't ready for high speed connections , maybe some internal buffers need adjusting?
Please fix this, would be a shame for wput to be so slow.
Thanks
