We have two installations of wordpress multisite 3.0.4. One is a production, and one is a development installation. Our development installation of the plugin is working fine. We are running the most recent version 3.0 of your plugin.
We were having problems with the ldap authentication on our production site. It was only recognizing about half of the ldap users, though it never said that a user couldn't be found. Just after adding them to a site, nothing appeared. We realized it was probably because we were running 2.9 and not 3.0. I just updated the production site to run 3.0. Now, when adding a new user, it says "ERROR: agoldsmith does not have an email address associated with the ldap record. All wordpress accounts must have a unique email address."
None of the settings have changed, and are identical to the development site. Any ideas why it might not be working?
Make sure your ldap attributes are set correctly and that each user has an email address in your ldap backend. Also - its important to note that each email address must be unique
