Initial Comment:
When a user goes to a network sub-directory site to login (ie. blogs.blogs.com/specific-blog/wp-login.php), and an account is created via LDAP-- user didn't exist prior to login.  That user is created and assigned/related to the "root" site, not the specific site that the log-in was done under.  I would assume if you are trying to gain access to the "blogs.blogs.com/specific-blog/", you would be assigned to that site on the LDAP login.  Thanks for your time, and all the hardwork on the plugin.
