This might be something that requires changes in bbPress, but I thought I'd mention it here.
bbPress integrates with WPMU, sharing the user database, cookies and role management. However, when the LDAP plugin is used, it breaks. WPMU users are seen in bbPress but login is not possible and role mapping doesn't work either.
Is this something that can be changed in the LDAP plugin or is it something to take up with bbPress developers?
Thanks
Joss
this and getting this to work with buddypress is going to very useful
Paul
Paul, this plugin works for me with BuddyPress without modification. For a private social networking, I also use the 'more privacy options' plugin <http://wpmudev.org/project/More-Privacy-Options> with slight modification noted here: http://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=128
Thanks Josswinn
does that included the BBpress plugin
LDAP works one way with bbPress/BuddyPress/WordPressMU. If you are signed in to WPMU using LDAP, then you are signed into bbPress. However, you cannot sign into bbPress using LDAP first. It has to be WPMU first.
