CMS has gone live at http://gdc.wpi.edu/ . sweetness.

This is the agenda as it stands on July 2nd, 2001.

I'm going to start out with the larger tasks and tunnel in so those of you who are not concerned with the smaller aspects won't have to read the whole thing.

We will have 2 alpha stages and then a beta. The beta will be released August 18th; the first alpha will be July 18th, and the
second alpha stage will be August 1st. (There will also be a small pre-beta test phase to make sure we're ok- giving us 5 days of light testing before we go forth with the public beta. That will be August 10th.)... read more

Although the roadmap released earlier may have stated we'd be doing something around April, and it's now the end of May, the project *is* indeed actually happening (no, really! :-) ), and I've started on some actual code. After a quick learning experience with CVS, I've even managed to add one file to the CVS repository - the license (hehe), although further code will be added at a later date.... read more

Our current roadmap for this project:
1 - Final Language Choice - the project leaders will make a final choice between PHP and Perl. End date: 22 Mar 2001.
2 - Initial Design Documentation - complete the initial design documents. End date: 29 Mar 2001
3 - Initial Database Schema - complete the intial database schema for the system. End date: 5 Apr 2001

Our current plans have our first beta being released hopefully at the end of August 2001. This, however, will be decided upon later based on the decisions made in the final design document.
