Outline in detail the process a GM goes through when deciding whether to keep a player on their roster. Some things to consider:

-Player is on their team currently and is becoming an FA---how does he decide whether to try and keep them or let them go? What value does he put on the player/position? Is age a factor? Declining production? Thinks he can get a younger, cheaper player and use that cap space elsewhere? Thinks he isn't a great fit for the scheme? Etc, etc...

-End Of Training Camp---how does GM decide to cut down to 53 players? Who gets cut? Overpaid veterans? Keep a rookie or younger player or keep a more experienced one?
