#38 Making Calendar work

I'm trying to make your calendar work with Wordpress 2.7.1 but I can't get it to display. I've tried adding the snippet from the readme to wp-admin/sidebar.php, but it still doesn't show up. The snipped I tried was: "<? if (function_exists('do_calendar')) { do_calendar(); } ?>" and I also tried making it starte with "<?php ....?>"
