shanky_singh has been added as a developer to the World of Empires project. Here's hoping that the proverbs, "the more the merrier," and "two heads are better than one" prove true! Perhaps TEmpire will actually materialize one day.
DOSBOX 0.65 has been released, and it is very handy for DOS-related projects under Win32 and Linux. So I am trying it out, even under Fedora Core 5 presently. Kudos to the DOSBox people.
All file releases have moved to the home page! There's been too many file releases lately, so the Home Page will generally contain the latest "bleeding edge" while file releases will be reserved for more substantial releases (in my subjective judgment). The Home Page is really nothing more than an ultra-primitive HTML stub at this point (and not even legal HTML at that).

ANSI pro: allow Linux port of TEmpire
ANSI con: that means only 16-bit DOS and Linux (because ansi.sys is the only way this developer knows how to do ANSI in Windows XP), or have separate Win32 version (need justification).
Borland's conio was being considered for a 16-bit only port (possibly BCC55, allowing Win32 conio port, but currently that is untested).
If you have an opinion/advice and a sourceforge.net login, add your vote/comment in the public forum to help influence my thinking (but no guarantees, and administrator decision is final).
AsciiTbl.Asm now builds AsciiTbl.Com via NASM. AsciiTbl.Exe is no-frills mingw32 (Dev-C++ project files fossilized for time being).
ASCIITBL.C code compiled to both ASCIITBL.COM (Turbo C++) and ASCIITBL.EXE (It was just something to do--more than anything I wanted to test the new mingw32).
Added ASCIITBL.COM (ASCII chart) with C source. For more info, see screenshots. Tweaked code 2006-02-04 and reissued.
This project has not been forgotten. It was sidelined due to pressing concerns that occupied all of my time. Please remember this is just a personal "newbie" coding project, not a "whiz-bang" blockbuster in the works. I've also changed the license from GPL to public domain. Be patient. Be kind. Code on.
