Hmm, it wouldn't be able to do any latex at all if it wasn't finding its package files. It looks for them in the Perl search path, not the TeX search path. I suggest you check whether the Package directory has been copied into for instance /usr/local/share/perl. "locate LaTeX.pool" is useful for finding out where it's installed its files. lw On Tue, 30 Nov 2010, Peter L.
