#660 Delay spinner until after confirming operation

Not a very important ticket, but putting it here to keep track. The destroy background job operation starts a spinner and opens a confirmation alert. After the confirmation, it does the operation. It seems like the spinner during the confirmation is redundant and a little inappropriate because it's not doing anything, just waiting for confirmation. Seems better to start the spinner when confirmation happens.
