No

Is it possible actually to rename the current project dir on WW, rather than to move it to a new location?

(There is an option "Move", but no option "Rename")

It's a Unix directory, so move and rename are conceptually the same
thing. I guess it probably rebuilds the directory at the new name
rather than renaming the existing one, though, which would be a problem
if you don't want to rebuild everything. Is that the issue?

As far as I remember, if I move the dir then I loose all links from my dir (like "File:xxx" or PROJECT_DIRs) and I need to define them again. At least, there were some caveats with that.

I have the situation: I have two dirs, say, Figure 1 and Figure 2 and now I need to change them: Figure 1 should be Figure 2 and vice versa. I can do move them, but if I could rename them - it would be a bit easier.

Yeah, I think it changes the name but doesn't move the project
directory, meaning it has to build the project directory again from
source files. I'll try to fix that soon. Thanks!

Sorry, can you clarify? Where do you have the option "Move"?

In the right top corner? (where we have a downarrow with Watch, Move, Protect..)

OK, the problem is that you're renaming the page but not the project data.

      See http://lalashan.mcmaster.ca/theobio/projects/index.php/WorkingWiki/Tips_and_Tricks#Renaming.

So I think your request is to have WW rename the project when the page is renamed.
