#354 running background jobs in place?

I shiver to think of it, but maybe we need an option to run background jobs in the persistent directories, without making a temporary copy of the project files for the background job? Copying all those files can be really slow.

It would be very similar to "do not copy" in some ways, but for the main project, not only for its prerequisites.
