It would be great to be able to make a latex project into a html file that can be taken away from the wiki and put on a plain website, or loaded into Word.

Done, in lalashan's site makefile. Just make %.standalone.html (or .xhtml).

I guess I might as well move it into WW though, maybe I'll do that soon.

r622 moves the css and js resources into ProjectEngine/resources/, which is a step toward implementing this feature properly in WW. The rest isn't done yet though.
