A latex command like

\psfig{figure=tree1.ps,height=3.39in,width=6in}

confuses my makefiles:

make: *** No rule to make target `figure=tree1.ps,height=3.39in,width=6in', needed by `tbcb5.latex.pdf'.  Stop.
