#274 trouble embedding properly

Something I've struggled with a few times... just realized I should have a ticket for it...

We should be able to embed things like videos and pdf files in our pages. I've tried it - it's simple enough to make a .html project file that says

<embed src="/theobio/wikiname/index.php/Special:GetProjectFile?whatever"/> -

but it doesn't display it properly. I need to test more thoroughly but if I remember right, it works okay to embed a file that's sitting on the web server outside the wiki, but not one with a GetProjectFile url. Why not?
