Does anyone know how to make this work?
I put an id attribute on:
<wo:activeImage src="foo.jpg" action="$foo" />
The id attribute does not show up in either the <a> or the <img>. So, there is nothing for selenium to click.
Hm. Perhaps I can use ERXActiveImage. But, ERXActiveImage does not add a "id", but it does add an "alt". But:
<wo:ERXActiveImage alt="HeyHereIAm" src="foo.jpg" action="$foo" />
The alt = "HeyHereIAm" does not show up anywhere either, so nothing to click.
I have a span around the <wo:activeImage>. I can locate on the title on the span (I think, though really that is a guess), but if I then click, what does clicking on the span get me?
Apparently, not much.
Jeez, Selenium is great, if you can get id attributes attached to everything. Otherwise locaters are _still_ a PITA!
Using Selenium IDE and recording gives me css-based locators and, if they would work, that would be fine. But they do not….
