I have created an AjaxModalDialog to allow users select a couple of
values from a list and add to another list. I've been using an
AjaxUpdateLink to refresh the contents of an AjaxUpdateContainer
containing the list of selected values. Everything was working fine. So
far, so good.
We decided that would make more sense to open the modal dialog from a
different component. I moved the code and then I started to face problems.
Now, the Ajax request produced by the AjaxUpdateLink returns an Internal
Server Error (500). And the following message is printed in the console:
"WARN er.ajax.Ajax - You performed an Ajax update, but no response was
generated. A common cause of this is that you spelled your
updateContainerID wrong. You specified a container ID 'myContainerId'."
console. I've tried to use an AjaxHyperlink and call the update
container code from the Java class with no success.
Anyone has any ideas/directions to help debugging this kind of problem?
