When I use setUseDistinct in my fetchSpec I can't use CompareCaseInsensitiveAs(Des)cending in sort order, just CompareAs(Des)cending.
It's seems to be a similar bug which was fixed by David Avendasora for the Oracle Plugin (http://issues.objectstyle.org/jira/browse/WONDER-439)
