I'm not the developer but I think this is what you're looking for:

http://elserv.ffm.fgan.de/~lermen/manual.txt

It is a small DOS program that loads a linux kernel into memory
without having to have multiple-partition boot loader.

Basically depending on the version of Windows - (I highly doubt
this could be made to work with NT/2K/XP) - you would boot into
MS-Dos mode or to a bare prompt and then run loadlin with the
same appended commands as are in the ./isolinux/isolinux.cfg file
in the WOMP! directory. Also remember a couple more things.

1) You will have to completely reboot the machine to get back to
Windows because this won't work in a DOS command window.
2) You will have to set up your loadlin batch file to choose the
display setting you want to use. Although this also means you can
set up multiple batch files for the settings you want to use.

You'll have to play around with it yourself but I think it could be
made to work without too much effort.

You being a Linux newbie I would suggest reading much more
before attempting this as you could easily make Windows dead in
the water.

Hope this helps!
