not sure I understand the problem actually... what do you mean by 'save a facet with existing name' ?
The only thing identifying a facet is its (name,profile,target type) key. So in theory you should not be able to define a new facet with the same exact key... but there is no issue in having several facets that have the same name, btw it's the case for woko's default facets like viewPropertyValue...
