I figured out this issue, sorry for documenting such a dumb mistake (I was
missing a capital letter).

I do still have a question / bug comment on the Adv Points aspect of the
bracket. The file clearly shows advancement points that can be
manipulated, but the program doesn't seem to acknowledge these values, such
as:

- Name: Semi-Finals Champion
Adv Points: 2 ---- NOT being accounted in the team score
Place Points: 3 --- NOT being accounted in the team score
Entries: 4
