#11 Steamgauges code

Hi, I understand that you will not be doing any further development on this system in the near future. There are a couple of things I'd like to add to the steamgauges but, having looked through the files, can't follow how you are doing things.
If possible could you explain how the steamgauges work.

One in particular is the UV Index for which I've created a 0-15 scale but don't know how to impliment it.

Any help you could give would be much appreciated.
