can anyone tell me under wht kinda licencing wizd open
source server is released?
also wht's biggest media file size can be streamed
through this server?
how many clients can the server support simultaneously?
Thanks in advance.
Hummm actually no licence has been attached to wizd. It's an
open source project, then you can freely contribute to the
project, modify source code and compile your own wizd.
The biggest file size that could be streamed depends on the
network bandwith to the player (wired or wireless). I've
been able to stream a TS file of 60 mbps.
Dunno maximum clients, but less than 5 is OK. Wizd allows
you to restrict the number of clients, in order to save CPU
and network bandwith.
