I have a Snazio 1350, I have been using the simplicity skin, which recently added the ffw/rew buttons to page forward/back whilst browsing. I would like to change this to relate to the volume up/down on my Snazzi remote (to behave in the same way as the snazzi software). I have found the relevant section in the head.htm and tail.htm files but need to know what names to use for each remote key.

(p.s. the ffw/rew keys don't seem to work in the thumbnail view)

Please have a look at our help page, "skins" section. You'll find some documentation about skins and TVID...

BTW, thanks for having noticed that Simplicity skin does not allow to use rwd/ff in thumbnail mode.

Where is the "help" section in sourceforge? The only skins documentation I can find is "keywords", and that doesn't list possible TVIDs and which remote key they relate to.

I presume Jib51 must have this info as you knew that green/red related to FFW/REW

      Thanks for your help.

Sorry I was not clear about the page location :
      http://wizd.sourceforge.net/help.htm

BTW, I have no documentation about TVID. I know some of them, but the problem is that TVID match different remote keys on players. For example, on first player, TVID "green" could be "Rewind" function, and on another player, the same TVID could be "subtitle" function. So you need to test each TVID for your player.

I'll probably publish a list of possible TVID for each player, but I need help as I do not own every player on earth ;) If you try, please give me a table of TVID and matching function on the remote ! Thx !

How do I go about testing the TVID? I would be happy to help with a Snazio.

I do have a list of remote control sequences for all the remote buttons on the Snazio (the NEC device ID and data ID for each button, as well as pronto hex codes).
