Finally i've found a solution to a long lasting problem.

If you were dropped to the kickboot emergency shell you couldn't see what you where typing.
This made debugging boot failures nearly impossible.

Including the sd-vconsole hook and some terminfo files did the trick.

This will allow me to find out why it is sometimes impossible to boot an usb stick.
