#37 Connection to a server with password

I want to access my bnc from my phone using wlirc.
So i need to set the ident (but this is not a very
problem 'cause i can choose the nick and wlirc use this
as ident..) but more important is the necessity of
specify a password for access. I try to send the
command "password mypwd" but the server doesn't give
me any response..
