Hello,

First of all i would like to congratulate you for this really
nice midlet.

I have a Nokia 7210, which does not support sockets.
Therefore the only way of connecting is to use the
gateway option.

When i try to connect, everything runs fine. The
connection to the IRC server is established, everything's
perfect but there is one small detail:

- From N to N seconds WLirc disconnects GPRS (i can
see the "G" icon desappearing) and then it reconnects
("G" icon shows up again).

My Operator takes 10 cents per GPRS connection
establishment, so imagine how much money was spent
after just a few minutes on WLirc (not mentioning the
download traffic).

My GPRS connection settings are ok (Continuous
connection) and i also tried running other identic
applications for several minutes and GPRS connection
was always kept on.

So this leaves me to think that disconnecting and
reconnecting GRPS permanently is a behaviour from
WLirc.

In my case i need to keep a permanent GPRS connection
established.

If this behaviour (disconnect/reconnect) is usefull for
some mobile operators (maybe because of the total
connected time) then i suggest you to add an option
like "GPRS Connection Keep-alive: YES/NO".

Thanks for your time
