Greetings, I have been using this driver successfully
through OSX version 10.3.9 with an Orinoco PCMCIA card
in a PowerBook 500. Upgrading the OS to 10.4.5 the
other day seems to have broken it. IoExperts has a
purchaseable driver that works, but it would be almost
as cheap to get an external USB "g" compatible antenna.
I was hoping that you might be able to make thr driver
OSX 10.4.x compatible, or be able to tell me if it
would be possible to copy a "kext" file from the old OS
into Tiger that would allow it to function. Breaking
"new" wireless devices isn't an issuse as I can always
reinstall the OS if needed. Thanks!

Oh, just an FYI... I got the orinoco/lucent wireless
card out of an external 2-Wire (SBC-Yahoo) USB receiver
package. They used the same PCMCIA card as for the PC
card slots and just plugged it into a PCMCIA/USB
converter and put it inside a plastic shark-fin looking
plastic case for use external use with desktop PC's
etc. The removed PCMCIA card works great in my
PowerBook since they didn't make a USB Mac driver.
