I have installed the new 10.2 5.1 beta drivr and I am now getting a signal from my wireless station, I am guess this anyway as my Orinoco Gold card is powered up and the activity light keeps flashing with my wireless activity light on the base station. I however am getting nothing in the way of IP address or anything else for that matter. Also I have no idea were to find the network name, sorry I am new to os X and could really use some help. I am guessing it has something to do with the network name as I have found ref. to that and it is the only item that I have no clue what it is. I have used the en1 port and I have tried to manually enter the settings I get from my router through standard eithernet. I have encription turned off as I am using a CompUSA Base Station, not apple and I have no clue about how to support it. I am on a Pismo Powerbook and using OS X 10.2.3 thanks for any help.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and now I am getting a signal of -79 and around that area. Yet I am still not getting an IP on DHCP nor can I manually enter one; I have tried the generic provided and the one my normal eithernet connection pulls and neither work. I am lost again please let me know how to finish this so I can use the signal I am recieving thanks
