[Wirelessdriver-support] OriNoco Gold and external antennae

I have an OriNoco Gold card.  I was getting a weak signal, but I was getting
a signal.  Problem is that I put on a 5 dbi external antennae and then went
to check the signal strength using the program Wireless Config, and the
signal was lost.  After that, no signal at all.  Uninstalled, reinstalled,
and everything I thought about.  No signal.  The access point is a Netgear
wireless router.  Any suggestions?
