Alex,
Have you repaired permissions using the Disk Utility?
Have you gone to the System Preferences and opened the "Wireless
Config" panel, to select the wireless you want to connect to?
I suggest you start with no password to get started. If that works,
you can add a password to the WAP later.
I've copied my troubleshooting file so you can see what it should look
like. en1 is the wireless connection.
