Alex, you're missing a file in the install. See below........ ============================================== On Dec 13, 2004, at 11:05 PM, wir...@li... wrote: ### wireless driver files installed drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 13 Dec 23:11 WirelessDriver.kext drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 6 Jan 2004 IOPCCardFamily.kext ### wirelesscard info =============================================== ### wireless driver files installed drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 15 May 2003 WirelessDriver.kext drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 24 Sep 2003 IOPCCardFamily.kext drwxrwxrwx 3 kori admin 102 15 May 2003 WirelessDriver PPane.prefPane IF you do not have these three lines, then the software is not installed correctly. This is where you must put things: WirelessDriver.kext goes into /System/Library/Extensions WirelessDriver PPane.prefPane goes into /Library/PreferencePanes Create a directory with this name and then re-install. It should be there. Run the troubleshooting.info program again. You should have what I show above. Make sure the privileges are the same. Reboot the computer. Go to System Preferences and you will have a Wireless Config panel there. Enter your information and you should be up and running. |
