Marc, If the driver is installed correctly and you have rebooted, you will have a new preference icon under OTHER in System Preferences, that is labeled Wireless Config. If that is there, and opening it doesn't show your card, then the chip in the card is not one that is supported. I think the documentation has a list of supported chips. You can buy a 8011b card today for as little as $9 at Microcenter.com.
