[Wirelessdriver-support] Problem getting card recognised

Sorry if these seems like a silly question (how may posts start with this
sentence)... But how do you get the mac to even notice the card is plugged
in to the slot?

I am using a TiBook G4 500mHz OSX 10.3.5
Wireless card is using an AMD chipset, but is unbranded.
