[Wirelessdriver-support] AirPort update 4.0.1 problem

I use a Netgear MA401 card with my Pismo PowerBook, powered by 
WirelessDriver. I am running Panther. Today I applied the new AirPort 
update via Software Update, and suddenly my PowerBook won't boot with 
the MA401 card in -- after I log in, the system hangs for a moment and 
then reboots itself, saying "ApplePMU::PMU FORCED SHUTDOWN, CAUSE = 
-93".

It works just fine if I turn it on without the PCMCIA card in the slot.

Any suggestions, beyond reinstalling the OS from scratch?
