Could you specify the system version you use? You mention using this 
driver for iStumbler, being used to Apples 
talk-along-the-edge-of-truth I wonder if you also use it for wifi 
networking, ie. making TCP/IP connections ;-) I'd be interested to 
try out the networking option. The buffalo is a PRISM too, isn't it?

nobody will ever need more than 640 K right? Lame excuse imho. Clean
