I wanted to post regarding my continued success using Wireless Driver on multiple systems. I have been using WirelessDriver on my secondary CPU, a Powerbook G3 Pismo with a Wavlan Silver PCMCIA WiFi card for a number of years and wanted to let people know what I do each time I have issues. Every-time I upgrade to OS, or recently I upgraded the proc to a G4!, I lose my Wireless capabilities. this has happened from 9.2.2 through 10.3.4 Each and every time the same solution works. Booting into OS 9 Searching for and remving all Wireless Driver files, particularly the pref pane and the kext file booting back into OS X installing WirelessDriver restarting installing wirelessDriver again Sometimes I have to do this process twice before I regain access to my card, but over five systems OS upgrades it has worked every time. Good luck, henry |
