Your wireless has a self-assigned IP address of 169.254.255.255 Go to System Preferences, Select the WirelessConfig icon on the bottom, and select a wireless service you want to connect to. When you see a signal strength you should be okay. Now select the Netowrk icon and look at the IP address for the en1 connection. It should say something other than 169..... kori On Jul 10, 2004, at 11:47 PM, wir...@li... wrote: en1: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,SMART,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet6 fe80::202:2dff:fe09:cf9%en1 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x4 inet 169.254.159.3 netmask 0xffff0000 broadcast 169.254.255.255 ether 00:02:2d:09:0c:f9 media: <unknown type> (DS11 <full-duplex>) status: active supported media: none manual autoselect DS1 <half-duplex> DS1 |
