[Wirelessdriver-support] Demarctech PC card not supported?

I want to fit a Demarctech Reliawave=81 802.11b 300mW High Power Wireless PC
Card (uses the Prism 2.5 chipset) to my G4 Powerbook (running os 10.3.4).
But alas, no fun.

Does 'untested' mean unsupported, you're on your own, we'll sell you one,
but if you want any help, adios!
Anyone have any experience with this card?
It was made aware to me after I bought it that 300mW frequency is illegal i=

the UK, the limit here is 100mW. Might this be the problem?
Can anyone shed some light on this?
