To whom it may concern: Last week, after finally getting Jaguar to install in my Wallstreet, I discovered that the absence of APE Manager (from Unsanity.com) was the only factor preventing a successful installation of the wirelessdriver software for my old WaveLAN Gold card. It seems that the "Other" section of System Preferences requires APE Manager in order to install anything else there. So if someone can't see any "WirelessConfig" item there after a restart, or find the "Ethernet Adaptor (en1)" item in the Network prefs pane after the restart, IMHO that's probably why. Since the installation, the card and the wirelessdriver software have performed flawlessly (uh oh, maybe I shouldn't be saying that). Anyhow, I hope this helps someone. Bob F |
