  I did erase and installs of Panther on a G3 (bronze) and a G4 Ti. 
Both the Lucent Gold and Silver cards that I have are working fine 
with the older driver.  Installation was smooth and didn't require 
some of the re-installs that have been needed in the past.

  Good luck (and FWIW Panther is great).
