Thanks. I may have said this before, but I bought a 3rd party (Linksys) card because my Airport functionality died around 10.2.4 or so. I thought it was hardware issue. The wireless driver operated the Linksys card fine. With 10.2.8 or so suddenly Airport came back at full strength (NO weak antenna issue at all-solid 4 bars no matter what). The Linksys PC card still works but now it's redundant of course so I removed it. Weird developments to say the least. So when I plug in the Linksys card, is Apple driving it or is the wireless driver driving it? Best Rick |
