Hi Terry,  Did you ever find out if the Silver Combo card is compatiable with your G-4 PB?  I have the same problem and am wondering if you have an answer.  Thanks.

I have been using an older Lucent Orinoco Silver card with my G-4 
Powerbook and Os 10.2.6 with no problems.  The card was physically 
damaged and although it still works, I ordered a new card which I 
thought would be comparable to my old card, a Proxim Orinoco 802.11
a/b Silver Card.  I have attempted to get the new card working, but when 
inserted, the Ethernet Adapter (en2) is not  recognized nor visible, etc. etc.
