[Wirelessdriver-support] Power Off Card Question

After I use my wireless card with the sourceforge wireless driver and I am 
finished using the Internet and then I choose "Power Off Card" from the card 
menu at the upper right, I find that my card repowers up automatically, 
causing me to crash due to the wireless driver bug regarding removal and 
reinsertion of cards. Any idea why?
